Renee Kjelsrud is the proud owner and operator of Heirloom Digital Video Production Company. Renee is a Montana native, attending Big Sky High and the University of Montana. After spending the last ‘few’ years all over the country, the last of which in Portland, OR, Renee decided it was time to come home. For the past ten years, Renee has been a Paralegal, the last four of which she spent working for herself, promoting her services (legal research, writing, complex case management, litigation support, to name a few) in the legal community. All of Renee’s work has been generated by word of mouth and solid references. There is no better compliment to one’s professionalism and quality of work than a good reference from/to a potential client. Renee has exceptional marketing, organizing, customer relations and service skills which have all been developed from experience gained by being self employed, in a field that demands high levels of competency, organization, and professionalism. Few other contract Paralegals in the Portland, Oregon metro area have been as successful in their attempts to contract their services to Attorneys in the area. Those that have been able to contract their services are a small, elite few. Renee knows that her years of business experience will make a success out of Heirloom Digital Video Production, Inc. 

Renee came across this business opportunity while researching a viable option for employment in Missoula. After researching the economy and different business options, Renee decided that with her love of music production (she produced and performed her own music CD with a local jazz band, The Hip Strip Quartet. Maybe you know them?), and compelling interest in genealogy, the creation of a family tree music video was a perfect match. The company provided all the elements Renee was looking for: A meaningful service/product for both Renee and her customers; an outlet for Renee’s creativity which will combine the video with unlimited possibilities in music recording/development which may include custom written music and lyrics to tell the family story; and a viable company the community will support allowing Renee to contribute to her family’s economic needs, and be a valuable leader in the community. 

Renee is married to Matthew R. Kjelsrud, an Electronic Engineer, and together they have a son, Erik, now five years old, two dogs and no cats.  

Jon Gauthier has spent most of his life pursuing a music career. He is currently studying music technology and composition at the University of Montana and can play an impressive number of instruments. In the local Missoula music scene, Jon is respected and in high demand as a bass player. To accentuate his musical interest, he attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, AZ, where he received 5 certifications in several fields of Audio Recording Engineering and Production including video editing and DTS Digital Surround Sound 5.1 Mixing. Jon has assisted in over 100 recording studio sessions in state-of-the-art music production studios and engineered audio for live band performances. Additionally, he excels in interfacing various technical gear with software to create the valuable final product. Jon brings his incredible musical ability and his knowledge of cutting-edge production equipment and its usage to the table for HDVP.
